Clinical features and treatment modalities of diabetic gastroparesis Summary Diabetic gastroparesis is one of the most significant complications of long-term diabetes mellitus. The glucose metabolism becomes extremely difficult to regulate because of the imbalanced gastric emptying, thus leading to the development and progression of the long-term complications of diabetes mellitus.

Several diagnostic procedures serve the early recognition and there are reliable pharmacologic modalities and invasive techniques for the treatment of gastroparesis.
